1. About GrihApp
GrihApp is a digital platform designed to help housing societies, apartment associations, residential communities and their authorised representatives manage society operations such as unit records, resident records, maintenance billing, receipts, accounts, complaints and related communication.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GrihApp, including the public website and the portal at portal.grihapp.com, you agree to follow these Terms of Use. If you use GrihApp on behalf of a society, association, committee, firm or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
3. User Categories
GrihApp may provide separate access for super administrators, society administrators, staff, residents, owners, tenants or other authorised users. Access rights may differ depending on the role assigned inside the platform.
4. Society Administrator Responsibilities
Society administrators are responsible for ensuring that society, unit, member, billing and payment information entered into the platform is accurate, lawful and properly authorised. They must use the platform only for legitimate society management purposes and must not upload false, misleading, unlawful or unauthorised data.
Society administrators are also responsible for managing resident access, verifying payment submissions, maintaining correct billing records, responding to complaints, and ensuring that sensitive information is shared only with persons who are entitled to view it.
5. Resident Access and Responsibility
Residents, owners, tenants or members using GrihApp must provide correct details and must use their account only for legitimate society-related purposes. They must not misuse login credentials, upload false payment proofs, submit abusive complaints, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the operation of the platform.
6. Platform Use and Limitations
GrihApp is a technology platform. It does not itself become the managing committee, auditor, accountant, payment authority, arbitrator or legal representative of any society. Decisions relating to billing, collection, refunds, penalties, complaints, disputes and internal society administration remain the responsibility of the concerned society or its authorised administrators.
7. Payments, Receipts and Financial Records
GrihApp may allow societies to record bills, payments, receipts, expenses and fund accounts. Such records depend on information entered or verified by authorised society users. GrihApp does not independently audit society accounts and does not guarantee the legal or accounting correctness of records entered by society administrators.
8. Acceptable Use
Users must not use GrihApp for unlawful purposes, fraud, harassment, spam, unauthorised data scraping, security attacks, malware distribution, impersonation or any activity that may damage the platform, other users or third parties.
9. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, OTPs and passwords. Any suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly to the society administrator or to GrihApp support.
10. Availability and Maintenance
GrihApp aims to provide reliable access, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, network issues, hosting problems, third-party service disruption, payment gateway issues or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
11. Third-Party Services
GrihApp may use or integrate with third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS providers, WhatsApp Business APIs, email providers, hosting services, analytics tools or cloud infrastructure. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Intellectual Property
The GrihApp name, platform design, software, workflows, website content, branding and related materials are owned by or licensed to Rehearse. Users may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, modify or exploit the platform except as expressly permitted.
13. Suspension or Termination
Access may be restricted, suspended or terminated if a user or society violates these terms, misuses the platform, fails to pay applicable subscription charges, creates security risks, or uses the platform in a manner that may harm GrihApp, Rehearse or other users.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrihApp and Rehearse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, including loss of data, loss of profit, internal society disputes, incorrect entries made by users, payment delays, third-party failures or decisions taken by society administrators based on platform records.
15. Changes to Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Continued use of GrihApp after an update means that the user accepts the revised terms.
